This option has been approved by the Florida Department of Education. Students will remain at home but follow the same daily class schedule as their classmates who are in traditional school. Gifted students will follow a virtual regional instructor.

Students will participate in classroom instruction by logging in on a device, and engaging with their teacher and classmates virtually, by using platforms such as Zoom or Teams (real-time live streaming). These students are expected to log in and out on time for class every day. Be online for class by 7:50am Monday - Friday.
They are also expected to engage in classroom activities. Attendance will be taken.
*Students should be dressed according to Volusia County school dress code policy, but it is not mandatory to be in uniform.
Volusia County Schools students participating in Volusia Live will be eligible for “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch meals to be distributed weekly (bundled for one pickup) at select school sites.
Regular prices (free, reduced, or full pay) will apply. Families are required to pre-order the bundled meals each week.
The deadline for signing up is each Thursday evening for meal pickup on the following Tuesday. Orders must be placed each week between Tuesday and Thursday using this link: https://forms.gle/vUWCh3GazNwN62966.
Only students enrolled in Volusia Live are eligible to pick up meals. Parents and/or students will be required to show identification for meal pickup. Each registered student will receive five breakfast and five lunch meals.
