How to join the PTA
Pine Trail is now using Givebacks to register and join the PTA!
Givebacks is a private online groups tool that provides a private portal where teachers, staff, and parents can stay informed and engaged.

- Register as either a Parent, Grandparent, Faculty/Staff or Community Member
- Complete the information requested on Givebacks
- Pay online through Givebacks
- Congratulations you're all signed up!
Join by paper form and pay by cash or check:
- Print the PDF document below.
- Fill out form and either email to ptepta1@gmail.com or return the form and payment to Pine Trail Elementary in an envelope labeled “PTA Membership”
- Include $8 cash or check (payable to Pine Trail Elementary PTA)
Join PTA
PTA Membership is easy and low cost. For just $8 you can show your support for our school. No commitment or expectations required, you’re just simply showing your support for our great students, school, parents, and staff. You must renew every year and you can sign up every member in your family.

WHY JOIN PTA?
Pine Trail Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization established with the state and federal government. PTA has many advantages that can benefit your child or children.
Members can get connected, meet other parents and teachers and find out what is happening in their school.Members can contribute money and/or time and help their school community.Members can become role models by demonstrating the importance of education.Members can fundraise for their school.Members can share their voice, ideas and perspectives.Members can help support teachers and staff to promote a welcoming and positive work environment.Members can help strengthen the bond between staff and parents by working in and outside of the classroom.
HOW LONG DOES MY MEMBERSHIP LAST?
Membership is valid for a year starting July 1-June 30.
WHO IS MEMBERSHIP OPEN TO?
Membership is available for staff, teachers, parents, grandparents, and community members.
WHAT DO MEMBERSHIP DUES HELP FUND?
Pine Trail Elementary PTA membership dues fund class parties, PTA sponsored events, staff appreciation gifts, teacher/school supplies and equipment, school grounds enhancements, and so much more.
IF I JOIN PTA DO I HAVE TO ATTEND MEETINGS?
No, you do not have to commit to anything. Members are not required to attend any meetings but you are always welcome. The PTA Board meets once a month. All meeting minutes and agendas will be posted on our website for members to review.
HOW CAN I FIND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE SCHOOL?
PTA will send communication to members regarding opportunities to volunteer and have a presence in the school. If you join you will be the first to receive volunteer sign-ups and other volunteer school communication.
HOW DOES PTA COMMUNICATE?
Pine Trail Elementary PTA will communicate via email and through Facebook.
Pine Trail Elementary PTA is not a full-time time commitment. It is a "do as you can" and "all help is appreciated" kind of commitment
